Once upon a time in a park far far away there was a dog named Snickers. Snickers was a shy and sweet dog. She had a boy named Adin who was similarly sweet and shy. At the park, they met another boy and dog who were neither shy nor sweet. They had been friends once, but that was a long time ago.

It all started with a dog toy that each dog thought was theirs, and led them to fight. Fortunately, today Adin thought to bring two toys that were exactly the same. The dogs played happily and the boys became friends. Which goes to show that friendship is the key that unlocks the door to every solution.

Max and the Lost Dog

Picture 1: Max Finds a Dog

Max walks home from school and sees a small, scared dog sitting under a tree. The dog has no collar. Max decides to help.

Picture 2: Max Feeds the Dog

At home, Max gives the dog water and some food. The dog eats happily. Max smiles and feels good for helping.

Picture 3: Max Makes a Sign

Max writes a sign: “FOUND DOG.” He draws a picture of the dog and puts his phone number on the sign. He hangs it on trees near his house.

Picture 4: The Owner Calls

In the evening, Max’s phone rings. A woman says, “That’s my dog! His name is Buddy. Can I come now?” Max feels excited.

Picture 5: Buddy Goes Home

The woman comes to Max’s house. Buddy runs to her, wagging his tail. The woman thanks Max and gives him a big smile. Max feels proud.

At the beach...

1. The kids are at the beach.

2. They swim together.

3. They eat ice cream.

4. They make a sand castle.

5. They go for a walk.

The children are at the park and they see the ice cream truck.

They run to their parents to get money to buy ice cream.

They run back to the ice cream truck.

They buy ice cream.

They are happy.

3.She decorates the house with lots of balloons.

My great vacation to Paris

1. I went to Paris with my family.

2. We are standing next to the Eiffel Tower. It is very tall.

3. We went upstairs to the top.

4. The view is great. You can see all of Paris from there.

5. You can also eat on the top of the Eiffel Tower, but it is very expensive.
