Write 5-10 sentences describing the stages in the negotiation which you find the most complicated. Give reasons. Write your name on a sticky note.

From my point of view, the most complicated stage is bargain with the other side. Because this process assumes that you should be ready to make concessions, and maybe lose some benefits in order to find consensus and reach an agreement. No one likes to lose and you need to be prepared in advance how your initial interests can be adjusted. You should also be able to offer some visible benefits to interest the other side. Values widely differ for different people and nations. You need to be well-prepared to find something that will be a real bargain for the other side and take into consideration a lot of nuances.
The line is very thin, you can win a deal at the time, but lost a partner for a long-term perspective. Both sides must be satisfied at the end to develop their further partnership.

Totally agree with you, Natalia! Detailed enough.)
A few comments:
1) Use the gerund here:
... the most complicated stage is bargainING with
2) Use infinitives in both parts:
... you can win a deal at the time, but LOSE a partner ...

form my point of view, I think the most complicated stage is bargining,First of all, bargining means our client's may not happy due to their requirement may not be satisfied.
Secondly, we need to show them our proposal, it is also very difficult to decied. Sometims we need to give them my feedback in a very short time, it can be more difficult.
On the other side, we will meet different kind of customers, that means there is no "perfect approach" to solve this kind of situation, it depends.
The last but not least, almost everything can affect you and your customers, even their emotion.

In my opinion, each of the stages of negotiation is unique and complex, depending on the adversary and the circumstances. In some cases, preparation can take the lion's share of time and energy compared to other stages, while in other cases preparation is almost impossible and you have to be very enthusiastic to adapt and find the best option as events unfold. Therefore, we must consider negotiations as a living, fluid process, adjusting to the circumstances and using best practices to achieve the optimal result.
I see your point and agree with you, Aliaksei! Well done.)

From my point, the most complicated stage of negotiations is preparing for it, especially making assumptions about your client’s BATNA. It becomes extremly sofisticated, if client doesn't know it too.
In short negotiations in case you seller of any services, the first question is usually: "How much does it cost?", and you have only few seconds to make offer.
It is easier, weiher your opponent knows work scope and approximate costing, but sometimes your potential client has only gut feelings and fantasies (oh, dear!). In such situations I try to investigate my future payer reasons, terms and volume of job with him. Probe with the questions and make couter or additional proposals
Although, even if I lost potential dealable client, I wouldn't be wary of it, if it is not regular situation, due to the fact, that sometimes it happens.

A good explanation, Denis! Well done.)
A few comments:
1) Spelling: extremely sophisticated, whether ...
2) ... if a client doesn't know it EITHER

From my point of view, there are a few complicated stages in the negotiation process. Firstly, it's to bargain with the other side because we usually trade concessions to reach a compromise and should be ready for different agreements from the negotiator. The next option is deeper related to the previous one is to resolve any areas of conflict. The main reason for the complexity is to argue over the terms or generate further options depending on the situation. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this stage is the most energy-consuming. Also, it's supposed to be intricate to gather information because we have to prove with questions and listen to the answers attentively during the conversation. Frankly, every step in the negotiation process is not easy and required fantastic effort and focus on discussion.

Totally true, Yauheniya!)
Keep in mind the spelling of 'proBE with ...'. Maybe it's a misprint.)

In my opinion, the stage that the most complicated in the negotiation is the bargain.
The bargain stage requires careful consideration and effective communication skills to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
This stage can be complicated due to several reasons: firstly, understanding the other side's perspective and priorities can be challenging. Usually, each side may have different goals, expectations, and limitations. Secondly, it can be difficult to assert own interests without appearing too aggressive the other side's concerns.
Also, keeping track of the progress, maintaining clear communication, and adapting strategies accordingly can be demanding. Lastly, emotions can impact the bargain stage. Managing emotions and maintaining a professional and respectful attitude is crucial for successful outcomes.
