This happened in Quillabamba when I was twelve years old. One weekend I went to the river with my family to fish, when we arrived we all felt the scorching sun and then we decided to enter the river to swim, after that we all decided to start fishing; To fish, I put my hands under large stones that are in the water to find some fish. At that moment I felt something under the stone and then I decided to grab it. As I did so, it hurt my finger and I got scared and shook my hand until I threw it away. In the end my parents went to help me and when I told them my parents laughed because it turned out to be an insect that is used for fishing and I didn't know that could be found in the river. After that unusual experience I stopped looking for fish under the stones.

This happened in the forest when I was eighteen, during a camping trip with friends. That night, around the campfire, we were sharing ghost stories. The forest became mysterious… strange shadows danced, whispers of the wind blended with tales and an unknown noise startled us. Though my heart was beating fast, laughter replaced fear when we discovered it was just an animal. Despite the initial scare, that night became one of the most exciting experiences I've ever had. The shared adventure strengthened my friends.

When I was 8 years old I lived with my mother and my brother in Laberinto, in Puerto Maldonado.

One day, my brother and I went to the river. I went down to wash my face with the water. At that, I felt as my body was falling. I don't remember much, only that I was in the water and there was less and less light, but I didn't feel afraid, I really felt tranquility, peace.

My mother told me years later that all the people there got scared and started pulling me out. It wasn't scary at the time, but it is now, because I'm like, "I almost died!"
