Founding Day (February 22) marks the beginning of the First Saudi State in 1727 by Imam Muhammad bin Saud in Diriyah. It celebrates Saudi Arabia’s deep-rooted history, unity, and cultural heritage. Unlike National Day (September 23), which marks the unification of the Kingdom, Founding Day honors the first steps toward building a nation over 300 years ago.
It’s a day of pride, traditions, and celebrations across the country!
