This is describing how Macbeth's guilt for the murders will not even be washed away by an ocean. It enhances the mood of the scene because it shows how Macbeths guilt and bad decisions are following him.

This is a metaphor as it is saying how Macbeths mind is full of worries of Fleance being alive when his father is dead. This metaphor enhances the scene because it shows Macbeths constant worries and how his actions are catching up to him.

act 3 scene 5 mcbeth comes back with the daggers and said that it has been done with blood on his hands

"Ere we will eat our meal in fear and sleep

In the affliction of these terrible dreams"

 

This is Act 3 scene 2 where Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are realizing that Macbeth really killed Duncan and that he's really dead. Macbeth isn't really going to eat his meal in fear this is not meant to be taken seriously, figurative language.

This reveals that Lady MacBeth doesn't believe that her husband is capable of having such a high power and she thinks that he isn't manly enough to have such a role
