This subject made me realize what kind of color schemes matches with different art styles and how I can play around with it to give a different vibe.

Color is daunting- still is -to me, but I never did notice the impact it has on me through storytelling... most especially in the few favorite video games in my list (except Bloodborne bc atmosphere. yes) I appreciate the power color has now and I'm more willing to experiment with color since I've never been good using color in the beginning.

Yes, my view of color has changed. I realized how important and impactful color can be all throughout media and the like. It can really make a difference with a simple color scheme. Color could also be used to convey a whole variety of symbolism.

I used to think color was just something that either looked nice or didn't, but through this class I've learned that there's so much more to it. I think about how the colors around me affect me, and that's something I never used to think of before. It's interesting to imagine how much more there is about color that we don't know about. - Bella

Yes! Something I've never really thought about with colors are that their use are pretty much endless. A great example of this are the films that uses them in a way that sometimes make you think the colors that you think symbolizes one thing is actually the opposite, or in some more special cases, one color is used for all of a film's symbolizations, just in different hues. My appreciation for color in general has definitely grown.

Thanks to what I learned in this class I think I'll be able to appreciate and enjoy the games I play much more. I've always seen them as just "ooh, pretty colors~" but now I understand that they have significant impact. I was never one to pay attention to detail but this class taught me to be more attentive to these kinds of things :D

It broadened my views in colors. I learned how to use complementary colors that I was never that fond of before to create works beyond my understanding.

I've been attempting to experiment with color in my previous films and had watched videos on how other filmmakers execute it perfectly. It had always inspired me a lot and I was amazed to see how filmmakers play with color in their films. Watching the video today during class made me realize that I still have a lot to learn and experiment with, especially because I'm not so good with color.

Color plays a far more important role than many people seem to realize and if you use it correctly in your work it brings out a complex flavor to your art.
