when color grading photos, I just randomly picked the color I wanted to stand out. But now when I rechecked these photos I can somehow feel the colors in them telling a story even though it's just a random shot.

Color is more than just tone or hues; it could be a unique sort of language that touches the soul. It can be applied to any medium, digital or traditional, and can be found all over the world.
Our lessons have really expanded my understanding of creative potential; I now feel more confident in illustrating and sharing my work, and I will continue to apply what I've learned in future artworks.

My view on color did change throughout this course. Before this class I was just choosing random colors in my art and not really thinking about what mood/emotion it conveys.
But now that I learned a lot about Color Theory, I am more mindful in what colors I'm using. Color harmonies especially helped me in utilizing more color combinations and look at colors in a different light.
I really enjoyed this class and I will for sure use all the lessons I have learned in my future artworks.

Color has become an everyday need now. Not just for expression, but for also to distinguish everything from each other

As a kid I really liked watching movies, especially Disney Movies or Barbie movies, now that we finished Color Theory, I realized that part of why I liked those movies was because of their color. I liked how well they worked together and I can kind of see how much they sort of translate into my works.

If we had more than 3 color cones, we would see and discover more colors.

I haven't exactly changed my views but it has expanded on what I can do with color. One example is what I learned about the transitions of colors changing throughout as change occurred in character was a fascinating idea and I'd like to apply it to my work too

Color is a great way to put a structure on:

After this course, I've definitely put more importance into color when it comes to my artworks.
I have been able to make more compelling illustrations with this knowledge.
My favorite thing to remember is probably "Color is relative"
