I have thoroughly enjoyed Khanoomeh Leyla's teaching methods this year. I found that I was challenged on a daily basis (in that frustrating yet effective way) with verbal translation into english. This made a noticeable difference for me for retention and 'guessing' at vocabulary, as well as improved passive listening in my spare time. I also noticed that my speaking improved, slowly but surely as I was able to start recalling words more quickly.

I have nothing to critique for teaching style, and while the weekly projects were alright for background knowledge on different subjects, I am interested to see what changes are made there.

You're one of the best instructors I've had for sure. The pace and organization of the class was good. I liked that we changed up the first hour after the first 2 weeks- went from reporting about an article to reading a more complex article together. I also appreciated that you talked more than you made us talk, it really helps our listening skills to hear a native speak so much during the day. Thank you for everything!

Teaching style was great. The overall class was really good and productive. I am very satisfied with this class. I think the only thing I would have wished to do more of, is creative writing. Aside from that, I enjoyed the method and the teacher.

Pros: You did a great job at keeping us engaged throughout the course, made the learning very easy and allowed us to read/listen to things independently while being there to correct us. Definitely one of the most enthusiastic language teachers I've ever had so thank you for making class enjoyable!

Cons: Not related to you, I didn't like the additional activities in the reading/listening assignments from the first 3 weeks. I enjoyed doing the mock DLPT much more so thank you for adopting that. I also wasn't a huge fan of the project because I feel like I didn't get as much language-specific learning out of it when compared to doing passages/listenings but it was good to switch things up.

Overall you did an amazing job, keep up the same energy and I'm very grateful to have had you as my language teacher!
