1. Teachers must set up or lay the materials earlier for the lessons.

 

The kitchen utensils were to be placed not near children for safety so that they couldn't reach out.

 

Cookery items must be labeled and sorted accordingly for easy access for teachers in charge. (using a transparent container)

 

2. We have to ensure that the wires are out of reach for the children and that sharp objects are kept in the transparent container and in the cupboard when not in use.

 

The electrical must be switched off after use.

 

3. We encourage them to put on the aprons and hat by themselves when they are involved in the cookery lesson.

 

Teachers will lay out the ingredients on the island table.

 

4. We prepare a trash bag for them before we start the lesson.

 

Let them wash plates and utensils after completing the lesson.

 

Practice cleaning the environment after the lesson.

Group 3: MMD / Sand Water Play:

 

1.MMD:

- Prepare materials needed (laptops, musical instruments, storybook)

Sand and Water Play:

- Prepare materials needed (sand play toys, water play toys)

 

2. - Remind children about the rules that they have to follow. (Indoor and Outdoor Rules)

- Remind children to use their gentle hands and walking feet at all times especially during sand water play.

- Remind children to stay within their premises/compound.

 - Remind children to keep their hands and legs to themselves.

- Remove any dangerous obstacles/objects that can be found at their play area.

- Teachers to check the play area before conducting lessons at the pit area.

- To check weather forecast before going for sand water play.

 

 

3. - Teacher to prepare interesting images or videos that relates to the lessons.

- Teacher to be involved in the ideas that they children doing.

- Children able to sing song while doing their lessons.

- Teachers can take children’s ideas into consideration.

 

 

4. - Children to clean up the area that the use.

- Children to ensure that they have to remove the sand from their footwear and ensuring not to bring any sand to the centre.

Group 4: Shalini, Pannir, Shameerrah, Jannah

 

1. Teachers must set up or lay the materials earlier for the lessons.

 

Each table has a small trash bag to minimize the children's movements around the classroom.

 

2. Teachers to remind the children about the sharp objects to be handled carefully.

 

3. Allow them to choose more variety of materials.

 

Showing them examples of different artwork.

 

4. We prepare a trash bag for them before we start the lesson.

 

Practice them to clean the tables and chairs by themselves after the lesson.

Group 2 - Tinkering

 

1. organise the materials accordingly and label them

 

2. keeping sharp objects out of children's reach eg: scissors, staplers

 

3. display their tinkering projects

 

4. ensure the children keep the materials accordingly after using them

Art & Craft / Cookery

 

1) -Split into smaller groups (see the number of children children)

 

2) -To make sure the materials are not within the children reach example scissors or any sharp object

 

3) - Show videos and pictures of relevant topic before starting the lesson

 

4) - To give instruction before and after lesson to children.

- To let the children use drying corner (rack for art and craft)
