Difference #1: Malcolm X believes that violent action should be taken when necessary against injustice. Dr. King , however, believes that non-violent action should always be the way to approach injustice.

 

Difference #2: Dr King states that an unjust law is one out of harmony with the moral law, however Malcolm X states that they(as in the government)don’t even know what morals are. Malcolm X states that they don't care if something is fair unless it threatens their existence.

1. King believed that in order to make progress in solving racial injustice we have to act peacefully that way they were not proving any stereotypes. Malcolm believes that people of color are allowed to be violent when being denied their basic rights.

2. Unlike Malcom X king had a more positive outlook on their current situation he believed that with action and the support of god people of color will be seen as equals. Malcolm X believes that there is no one coming to save them; it is not good enough to say it can't stay this way forever because he wants change.

Difference 1- Dr. King writes very formally and with a lot of dignity, while Malcolm X speaks with power, and some anger behind his words.

 

Difference 2- Dr. King is very non-violence inclined, while Malcolm says to get violent if necessary.

1. One talks about religion and the other doesn’t.

 

2. They are both non-violent but Malcolm-X’s will become violent if necessary.

1)Dr. King believes that all people are equal while Malcolm X believes in black supremacy and that African Americans and whites should be separated.

 

2) Dr. King was a peaceful, nonviolent man that didn’t interfere in any violent acts no matter what someone did to him. On the other hand, Malcolm X was only nonviolent with those who were nonviolent with him and violent with those who drove him crazy with violence.
