He was born in Italy, Genoa 1451. He sailed with 3 ships, Santa Maria, pita, Ñina. His first voyage was in August in 1492. He came back to Spain in March, 1493. In his voyage, he lost Santa Maria in a huge storm!. He died 1506. Christopher Columber had other 3 voyages and he thought he was in India. He was one of the biggest explorers in the history. He discovered America without him knowing that he sailed to America. He was trying to bring gold and spices from Asia to Spain.
