In Greece school starts at 11 of September and it ends on 15th of June .

Our school starts on 2 September and ends on 30 June

Summer holiday starts on 01 July.

There is one week for autumn holiday at the end of October until 2 November.

Christmas holiday starts a day before Christmas Eve and ends on 6 Januray.

There is also Easter holiday. They begin on Holy Thursday and ends after Easter Monday.

Spring holiday date moves. It is always one week in February or March.

The Saint Patron of the city is holiday too. In Sestri Levante the Saint Patron is San Nicolò on 6th December and it is a day off.

In Italy if you attend a "liceo" you study specific subjects too such as Psychology, Art, Philosophy, Chemistry, Physics, Latin and Ancient Greek, other foreign languages depending on the type of school the students choose.

In Italy we start school at the age of 6 at primary school.

At the primary school we study: Italian, Maths, English, Music, P.E., Art, R.E., Geography and History, Science. Primary school lasts 5 years till the age of 11.

At the age of 11 we start Secondary Lower School and it lasts 3 years till the age of 14.

We study: Italian, Maths, English, Spanish/French, Geography, History, ICT, Art, Music, P.E., R.E. (It isn't compulsory), Science, Italian literature.

At the age of 14 we start Secondary Upper School till the age of 19. It lasts 5 years.

There are some subjects which are compulsory such as Italian, English, Maths, Science, History, Geography (only in the 1st and 2nd years), P.E.

The other subjects are more specific and they depend on the type of school you choose. If you attend technical schools you have lessons about the job you'll do.

In Italy school starts approximately on 14th or 15th September. We have holidays on the following dates:

-1st November All Saints

-8th December Immaculate Conception

- Christmas from 14 to 20 days off (December-January)

- Easter: 6 days off from holy Thursday to next Tuesday

-25th April: Commemoration Day of Italian freedom after Second World War

-1st May: bank Holiday

-2nd June: Italy became a republic after second world war

- Summer holidays: around 14 weeks off from 10th June till the beginning of the new school year

In Spain, school starts approximately on September 10th. We have holiday for the following occasions:

  - Christmas (between December and

    January, around two weeks off)

  - Easter (between March and April,

    one to two weeks off)

  - Summer holidays (between June,

    July and August, around 11-12

    weeks)
