My reflacation is that there are both side of eqvication with vareble

My reflection is when there are two unknown variables so we have to check which variable have the smaller coefficient so we will subtract the coefficient on both sides.

My reflection about today's lesson is that I learned that the numbers being multiplied with the variables are called coefficient.

My reflection is when two variable one is big one is small so we will minus small variable with big one and small one

My reflection is when there there is two variables we have to get rid of them and minus the coefficient

My reflection is that there are both side of equation with variable

Solve the equation:

4

π‘₯

βˆ’

7

=

3

π‘₯

+

2

4xβˆ’7=3x+2

Simplify both sides (no parentheses to distribute, so move to step 2).

Move variables to one side:

Subtract

3

π‘₯

3x from both sides:

4

π‘₯

βˆ’

3

π‘₯

βˆ’

7

=

3

π‘₯

βˆ’

3

π‘₯

+

2

4xβˆ’3xβˆ’7=3xβˆ’3x+2

Simplifies to:

π‘₯

βˆ’

7

=

2

xβˆ’7=2

Move constants to the other side:

Add 7 to both sides:

π‘₯

=

2

+

7

x=2+7

Simplifies to:

π‘₯

=

9

x=9

Check the solution:

Substitute

π‘₯

=

9

x=9 into the original equation:

4

(

9

)

βˆ’

7

=

3

(

9

)

+

2

4(9)βˆ’7=3(9)+2

Simplifies to:

36

βˆ’

7

=

27

+

2

36βˆ’7=27+2

29

=

29

29=29

The solution is correct.

So,

π‘₯

=

9

x=9 is the solution.

My reflection is when there are two variables one is big and one is small so we have to get rid of the smaller number.

 When solving equations with variables, I noticed it’s like keeping both sides equal. You move things around step by step until the variable is alone on one side, and then you can find the answer.

The reflection of mine after learning about solving equations with variables is that if their is two variables in one equation we have to make it into one variable in the equation.
