Places d’Armes, Versailles Castle
The 15th of January 1787,
Dear Mr Frankenstein,
A rumour circulates in our country that your creation walks on the mountain. You must recover this horrible thing, before that it kills innocent subjects. If you can’t recover your monster, kill him ! I implore you to act quickly and effectively. If you do anything, I will be obliged to requisition your castle.
I hope Mr Frankenstein you understand my demand, as French King it’s my duty to protect my subjects. Moreover, you don’t respect the laws with your creation, so considered your mission like a way to avoid jail.
Sincerely,
Louis XVI, King of France, and Navarre
