Results of the first teachers´meeting on the 25th of September
It was a pleasure to meet all the new partners for this project, represented by Greece, Spain, Poland, Italy, and Germany.
What did we do today?
We discussed the goal of the project and the methodology to be used. Here is a short summary:
First, we filled in some documents with necessary data about our schools (name, country, number and age of students, and possible times to meet online with students). If you were unable to participate today, please click on these links and add your information.

Next, under the slogan "Act locally, think globally," we considered creating, in the first stage, national teams, and in the second stage, international teams of students to address issues related to the ocean and water in general.
But what real, daily issues should we address? What is manageable for students aged 11-16?
Idea
We then created a Padlet: https://padlet.com/criscostathiele/let-s-dive-into-the-blue-7yzi2ptc97stj2um
Cristina will prepare it with questions or headlines addressing key areas.
To-do's:
Please brainstorm with your students in class and collect as many ideas as possible. Then upload them under the corresponding headlines or questions on the Padlet.
In the second online teachers' meeting (check the survey on WhatsApp), we will review all contributions made on the Padlet and further structure our project and set goals.
The key question is: What real issues are we going to work on in the national teams (local issues in your region/countries) and international teams (global issues)?
Thank you for the idea behind this project and for the welcoming and open atmosphere.
We are all looking forward to the next meeting.
Kind regards,
Cristina
