We chose "Brave" movie. Many lessons are weaved into the movie. One is the relationship between mother and daughter (fragility and significance of relationship). The importance of family is another lesson (two solid, loving parents). Another is the definition of brave. Next is the ability to put pride aside and admit fault(s). The connection between destiny and fate. Other lessons include that children can be independent as well a honor among the family. So, yes, many lessons are apparent in the Disney movie "Brave".
The lessons:
- If the child lies to parents often, it is because the parents over-react too harshly to their inappropriate behaviour.
-If the child is not taught to confide in parents about their mistakes, we will lost them.
- If the child had poor self-esteem, it is because the parents advice them more than you encourage them.
- If the child does not stand up for themselves, it is because from a young age the parents have disciplined them regularly in public.
- If the child does not respect other people’s feelings, it is because instead of speaking to the child, the parents order and command them.
- If the child is too quick to anger, it is because the parents give too much attention to misbehaviour and give little attention to good behaviour.
- If the child is excessively jealous, it is because the parents only congratulate them when they successfully complete something and not when they improve at something even if they don’t successfully complete it.
- If the child talks back to the parents, it is because they watch the parents do it to others and think its normal behaviour.
- If the child doesn’t listen to the parents but listens to others, it is because the parents are too quick to jump to conclusions
