On a trial is a case about damaging human's property. The suspect is a human’s cat named Purr. Crime is destroying of human’s slippers. Someone has pee on the left slipper. Jury are owners of cats and other animals. Lawyer is a cat in boots who walks by itself. Judge is a veterinary doctor. Punishment is no treats and no pet for one week.

A wolf is on trial.

They ate some grazing sheep.

The jury is made of sheep, farmers, wolves, vultures, and bears.

The judge is a turtle.

The lawyers are coyotes and goats.

Since the wolf was declared guilty of eating some grazing sheep, they are ordered to go on a vegetarian diet.

-What animal is on trial? --> a Lion

-What crime did it (or he/she) commit? --> The lion claimed that he was "king of the jungle" but lions do not live in jungles. The lion is lying.

-What would the jury look like (who/what would be on the jury)? --> the jury is a combination of lions, tigers, bears, and zebras.

-Who/what would be the judge? --> A panda would be the judge

-Who/what would be the lawyers? --> Giraffes are the lawyers

-Assume that the animal is found guilty. Describe what the punishment would be (and let’s assume that this trial takes place in a state that does not allow capital punishment (executions)!) --> The lion must live in a jungle environment for one year.

Imagine we continued the practice of trying animals for crimes. What would an animal trial look like nowadays? Come up with the following information:

-What animal is on trial?

-What crime did it (or he/she) commit?

-What would the jury look like (who/what would be on the jury)?

-Who/what would be the judge?

-Who/what would be the lawyers?

-Assume that the animal is found guilty. Describe what the punishment would be (and let’s assume that this trial takes place in a state that does not allow capital punishment (executions)!)
