Situation: A man appears to be drunk (consuming too much alcohol) but says he doesn't drink. Not only that, he says he does not remember acting/appearing drunk and doesn't know what is happening. Nobody believes him but he isn't sure what to do.

 

What could be the cause?

He was under influence of something :

 

Drugs or alcohol or any other substance.

 

Generally drunk people don't know what they're doing

he drunk or breathed ether. When ether combine with water it becomes ethil (alchohol)

he ate spoiled food, grapes for example,

or mushrooms

Everybody else was drunk
