- put camera and microphone in a place where they live

- observe them from far

I would put hidden spy cameras, watch and analyze how they interact and behave in the wild life

No idea, probably. Some of them are smart enough for this, I guess

Live closer to them, hidden cameras

Can animals have culture? Why/why not?

Imagine you are zoologist (animal specialist) and you want to study animal behavior/habits/culture in the natural environment. How would you do this?

I think they have some rules of behavior based on their instincts. It could be considered as a culture of behavior of a particular animal kind.

However I am not sure they have culture as humans define it. They will not create something that is not required for their surviving and of course don't inherit or collect their knowledge.

I think yes, they behave similar when they are from the same family

I would not say culture. But they have living way to survive and habits.
