In 19 century people was bored and want to something new. One guy wanted to lie and take advantage of people. But people revealed that he is lying. So he has to make up something and he created April’s fool day to excuse his lie.

With the change of season, it was common for farmers to seek guidance with forecaster to plan ahead their harvest for the rest of the year.

However, with different tribes with different interests, one trying to overcome the other, forecaster would start giving wrong advice according to their personal/social interest. In case they were caught, they created this date as the perfect excuse to alleviate their consequences.
