Throughout the week we learned important terminology to describe the parts of the body in their complete anatomical compassion, and this helps us a lot when explaining how a disease acts in our organism, how it affects it and gives us a route to find solutions to this.

In the presentations, the topic of "respiratory system" was very common, because we understand that the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the interest in knowing more about this system and what are the affections that this virus can cause to our organism.

Our classmates presented general information about what it is, which are the organs that compose it, but some groups decided to add information about which are the most frequent pathologies that occur in the repsiratory system and also gave recommendations to stay healthy and prevent as much as possible to develop a disease, infection or condition that can seriously damage our respiratory system.

Our body is extremely important, it is the transport with which we will travel in life. It is important not only because it allows us to walk, eat, see, touch, but also because it is our main tool for communication, feeling, living experiences and enjoying life.

Yanella Romero Gonzales (N° 65)

During the presentations, much emphasis was placed on the respiratory system, and I think it is relevant due to the circumstances that we live in today and knowing that due to the virus, one of the organs that are most affected are the lungs, therefore, I consider that all the information provided on these aspects was very useful and it is important to continue acquiring knowledge about this and other systems.

Yerko Andre Zapata Mendoza - 78

This week we have learned about the various parts of the body and the systems that make up our constitution, in today's class I want to highlight the importance of the respiratory system, for its work to supply oxygen to every cell of the body, action by which the various cells of the body can continue living, however all body systems complement each other and act together to achieve an optimal balance in the body.

Melissa Nicol Mamani Chambilla - N°45

In this class, according to the two expositions seen about the respiratory system, I could see the importance of this in the functioning of our organism, it was possible to appreciate that they included different structures such as the nose, mouth, throat, trachea and lungs.

Being, in my opinion, a very important function of the respiratory system, the gaseous exchange, which is based on the oxygen entering through our airways and reaches the lungs, to proceed to enter the alveoli, while from these leaves the carbon dioxide, which through the same pathways that traveled the oxygen, is expelled to the outside; It should be noted that according to my research I can highlight that this occurs with the purpose of oxygenating our cells, so that they can live and fulfill their various functions, do not forget that these cells are the fundamental unit of our body, thank you.

I really liked the presentation on the respiratory system, which includes the nose, mouth, throat, trachea and lungs.

Air enters the respiratory tract through the nose or mouth. Parts of the respiratory tract are protected by tiny hairs called "cilia," which are responsible for filtering out dust and other particles that enter the nose along with the air we breathe.

The lungs also contain elastic tissues that allow them to inflate and deflate without losing their shape and are covered by a thin lining called the pleura.

Darly Sandro Pilco Vizcacho-N°57

In the class I was able to learn the parts of the human body, as well as the systems that compose it and the functions it performs in our organism. With the module I also learned about the axes of the human body and the medical terminology related to the parts of the human body.

Angie Paola Tapia Laqui (68)

The class was very interesting, now I deal a lot about anatomy and physiology, in each of the systems that make up our body, also how each one acts, apart from seeing the most important systems and interacting in class, we also saw the parts of the body separated by regions, but what I liked the most was the part of the cardiovascular and respiratory system.

I really liked today's class since I was able to learn and relate the parts of the human body in the American language as well as know terms related to the systems of the human body such as cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory among others

Brady German Valdez Nina (N°72)

Diego Rodrigo Romero Pinto N°66

In today's class I learned to recognize the regions as the systems that make up the human body. This is very important for my career because it increases my linguistic communication skills to understand people who do not know Spanish.
