The topic I liked the most about the expositions of all the groups was the respiratory system, since it is there where the exchange of gases between the atmosphere and the blood takes place. Oxygen is introduced into the body and then distributed to the tissues and carbon dioxide produced by cellular metabolism is eliminated to the outside. We were also reminded of the parts that make up the respiratory system, for example that it extends from the breathing zone, located just outside the nose and mouth, through the conducting airways, to the alveoli, where the respiratory exchange of gases takes place between the alveoli and the capillary blood flowing around them.
