When the subway and trains stop running, the night buses come into service: buses that only perform night services are indicated with N + the number of the line.
A single ride costs £1.50. Using only buses and trams to get around London, you'll pay a maximum of £4.40 per day, as long as you always use the same card.

Gray opened his own company and began installing these devices in many cities. Within a few years this invention also arrived in Europe. In 1924, sir. Giles Gilbert Scott won the competition to design a standard telephone box for use in Great Britain, and to be standard-produced.
They were installed 30 years earlier than in Italy.
They were thought of as metal, but red was chosen because they had to look good, and they were also large and heavy.
today they are not used but they are still a symbol of London

THE RED TELEPHONE BOX
The architect of post office drew the first telephone box (kiosk1) in a 1921 ,it was grey, english people didn't like it.
Few years later, Giles Gilbert Scott drew the red model (K2). Later new versions were made. the last one (k8) was designed by Bruce Martin.
today's technology has made the telephone box useless, but it remains a symbol of London
