GROUP 2

1. According to Joe Anon there are different factors that contribute to poorer health of individuals with lower income as supposed to people who are rich. He argues that poor people are less healthier because they do not eat healthy food which results in malnutrition. He adds that poor people have limited access to proper healthcare, and have psychological and physical stress.

Anon argues that rich people are healthier than the poor .There are many reasons that contribute to that fact, some of those being poor diets, run- down living conditions in unsafe areas and lack of accessibility to proper medical care. All these factors add to their mental stress which is more debilitating than physical stress ( Anon, 1995)

Summarizing Practice - Alexa Wright

Lower-income individuals face a multitude of health challenges compared to their wealthier counterparts. Poorer diets, deficient in essential nutrients like protein, lead to chronic malnutrition and increased vulnerability to illness. Additionally, their living conditions are often subpar, with crowded, poorly maintained homes in unsafe neighborhoods. Low-income families typically receive less and lower-quality medical care, potentially resulting in untreated minor health issues that can worsen over time. ( Anon, 1995)

Supporting points:

1. Poor diet

2. Socioeconomic status

3.Malnutritaion

4.Psychological stress

Due to things like poorer diets, lower living standards, and worse medical treatment, those in poverty are typically less healthy than those in higher socioeconomic status. Malnutrition is common in low-income families, which increases their vulnerability to disease. They are also subjected to psychological stress, which may have an even greater effect on the body's susceptibility to illness, and physical stress, which is connected to the start of illness. ( Anon, 1995)
