It is not unusual for people to have different opinions. In terms of the importance of money in our life, people from all of the world can be devided into two categories. The first category says money can buy happiness, while second one claims it cannot. Both sides cost themselves.
On the one hand, there are several arguments for saying that “money can buy happiness” is right. First of all, money can buy medicine, with the help of which sick people can get well faster. Secondly, money can buy convenience, people feel comfortable living in modern well-equiped houses, eating delicious food and spending money on their hobbies. Finally, people can buy a good education, they can enroll in a nice and expensive college or university. These things are important to people to feel self sufficient.
On the other hand, there are some arguments against the popular phrase. Obviously, money is something that everyone needs. But not everybody wants an expensive house to feel comfortable. Moreover, there are people who don’t use modern medicine, most of them like natural one more. Not everybody dreams about expensive education to be smart and to be confident in the future. Last but not least, there are things money can never buy. These are our feelings. Someone can buy a good attitude, but he will never buy feelings, since they are personal.
To sum up, there are lots of strong arguments for and against the popular phrase. Personally, I think money cannot buy happiness, it can only buy material well being.
