Fokardi 11-A
Hunting has always been a part of human life. Humans, like all beings, needed the energy and resources they received from the outside world through gathering, growing and hunting. As for hunting, everything was basic and clear, people hunted for: food, warm skin. But gradually the situation changed in addition to hunting for food: status and body parts also added status. People realized that to show their power, you can not only own large tracts of land, but also have a personal right to hunt. Thus, hunting is attached to the nobility as a way to show their bravery by killing wild beasts or to show their wealth, because hunting was not a cheap thing. However, this is no longer the norm, because for the first time in thousands of years, humanity can soberly say that hunting wild animals is unjustified cruelty, because it is done not for food or personal safety, but for pleasure. Experts have also been sounding the alarm for a long time, because hunting causes irreparable damage to nature. Animals are killed when they hunt: the sick and the elderly thereby making a natural selection. However, people usually kill the healthiest because whole species are disappearing and some have already disappeared. In conclusion, hunting is not a sport, it is a common way to satisfy your ego. And the sooner humanity understands this, the better.
