More than 100 students from the Santa Magdalena Sofía school faint due to alleged poisoning. However, the exact cause of the situation is unknown.

On May 21, 2023 at approximately 1 to 2 pm, patrols and ambulances circulated around the educational institution to evacuate in an emergency for unknown reasons, although a "collective psychosis" is presumed. The incident would have started when a minor decompensated in the middle of starting school training. Parents demand security cameras to know the situation of their daughters.

The students arrived with anxiety disorders and movements in their arms and legs. Of the 90 who were admitted, 40 have been discharged and 50 are under evaluation.

On the other hand, the parents of the students came to the educational institution to receive a response from the teachers who witnessed the event, in which their daughters were at risk.

Marine pollution is a serious issue caused by plastics, industrial waste, sewage, agricultural chemical, and atmospheric pollution. The destruction of marine ecosystem, health riskfrom comsuming contaminated fish, and loss of biodiversity are included among its impacts.Solutions include reducing plastic waste, properly treating sewage, controlling industrial pollution, implementing sustainable agricultural practices, and promoting environmental education and awareness. This challenge must be addressed through global cooperation and community commitment.

A series of wildfires have ravaged central Chile, burning thousands of hectares of forests and farmland. Fueled by strong winds and dry conditions, the fires have forced the evacuation of numerous communities and threatened local wildlife. Firefighters and volunteers are working tirelessly to contain the blazes, but the efforts are hindered by the challenging terrain and persistent hot weather. Authorities are investigating the causes of the fires, urging residents to stay vigilant and adhere to safety guidelines. The government has declared a state of emergency to mobilize additional resources for firefighting and recovery.

How does global warming affect the forests?

It has been estimated by meteorologists that if temperatures rise by 3 °C, several forests will be destroyed by wildfires. In fact, forests worldwide are already being ravaged little by little by wildfires. Forests such as the Amazon in South America have been consumed by flames. It is said by scientists that the tropical regions are the most affected. The rainforests in Southeast Asia will probably be affected by these fires. The forests in California and Australia will also be reached by this phenomenon. Natural habitats will be reshaped by these wildfires. As a consequence, environmental maps will have to be redrawn by geographers.

The widespread problem of water pollution is caused by harmful substances (often chemicals or microorganisms) contaminating a stream, river, lake, ocean, aquifer, or other body of water, degrading the quality of the water and making it toxic to humans or the environment. This results in our health being endangered.
