Why do you think Martine's mother never told her about her grandmother Gwyn Thomas?

because gwyn thomas just want to see and spend time with her granddauter.

Response to:why did Gwyn Thomas want Martine?

I think Gwyn Thomas wanted Martine because Gwyn Thomas is Martine's grandmother.

Response: The fire in the beginning of the book is the hook of the story.

Question: What was your favorite part in chapters 1,2 and why?

Response to: Why did Gwyn Thomas want Martine?

Most likely because she felt bad for her or wants to get closer to Martine for some reason

Response to: What does the white giraffe have to do with the problem?

The white giraffe mostly appears later in the book when Martine goes to Africa because giraffes are native to Africa

Why did the fire start so early in the book? It practically jumped straight into the action and i feel like it should have happened later in the book.

What does the white giraffe have to do with the problem?

Questions: Why did her Grandmother, Gwyn Thomas, want her? Who set the fire? Was the fire on purpose? Why did her father say, "Everything happens for a Reason," for his last words for her, What's the purpose? Did the White Giraffe have something to do with this?

Response: Aha Moment, Martine realized that the person who wrote that letter was from the letters they sent to her mom every month.

This is my question note. Why did the fire happen? All fires require a source, a spark, to begin. Where did this fire's spark come from? Was it an accident, or on purpose? Why did the fire happen?

This is my response note. This was an I think an Again and Again. Martine realized that her mother recieved one note per month from her grandmother, who Martine never knew existed, and her mother was always more cheerful after those letters.
