I think that behaviorism is highly applicable to web-based learning because as a student, I tend to get very anxious in our current setup. Through behaviorism, as students learn and explore freely and independently, they are also shaped by conditioning and reinforcing without too much pressure which helps them move and learn at their own pace and capacity. Hence, as a future teacher, I want my students to learn in a fun and productive environment where they get to comfortably interact with their classmates and teachers, as well as learning through each other.

I believe that behaviorism is highly applicable for young learners since it involves a reward system which children likes the most and it creates a healthy learning environment.

Behaviorism is more applicable since it teaches pupils how to behave and respond to different stimuli.

From the theories discussed earlier, I think cognitivism, in the form of scaffolding, is also a good approach in teaching young learners. In scaffolding, there is a more knowledgeable other (the teacher) that can guide the children in doing certain activities while learning online. They can still do tasks simultaneously and the teachers can supervise and guide students as they learn such skills. Behaviorism, in addition, is also perfect when teaching children, as we can incorporate new information or behavior to them through different ways (e.g. conditioning, tutorials, etc.).

I believe behaviorism is the most appropriate approach to use for using web-based instruction. With so many applications that uses interaction for learning, it helps them explore independently as well as gives them confidence to learn online.

For young learners, the theory that I find to be most applicable when it comes to web-based instruction is behaviorism. Rewards systems are quite common in early childhood education because young learners respond well to receiving rewards for their good work. This is an application of operant behaviorism that may still be applicable in web-based instruction.

For me, behaviorism is the best approach for young learners. When using web-based instruction, teachers can still teach students through online tutorials and online classes. They can use operant conditioning to teach students to get the attention of young learners, such as using reactions to praise them. Reinforcement is essential for the development of behavior. Punishment also has an essential role in the learning process. Any event that enforces a certain behavior might be either positive or negative in nature.

Behaviorism is perfect because stimulated learners learn easier

Based on the theories discussed today, what do you think are highly applicable to web-based learning of young learners?
