when a change is reversible its called physical change eg. dissolving salt in water

And when a change is irreverseble its called physical change eg. making tea

 By Ayesha tasleeem

physical changes happenes when size or a shape change and chemical change happens when a news substance is formed examples: A burning paper forms ash as a new substance and in physical change example: melting of a ice cube

chemical change is ireversabe while physical change is reversable

the formation of a new substance (chemical), change in color, odor, or temperature (chemical), or change in size, shape, or state (physical)

If it comes in a new form so we can understand that it is chemical change and if it remains same so it is physical change

ex= if we cook egg so it changes its form so it called chemical change

ex=if we mix sugar with water and boil it so we can get our sugar back it is called physical change

ABBAS ISMAIL

A change is physical if it alters the appearance or form of a substance without changing its chemical composition. A change is chemical if it results in the formation of new substances with different properties.

chemical change is irreversible while physical change is reversible

freezing water is an physical change and melting butter is an chemical change

saif ali

chemical change is irreversible and physical change is reversible

when a chemical change happens, a new substance is formed, and the change is irreversible but when a physical change happens a new substance isn't formed but the size and shape only changes moreover the change is reversible

When a chemical change happens a new substance is form but when a physical change happens only the size and shape is different but no substance is form, chemical change: e.g, a burning paper turns into ashes, Physical change: ice melting ( Rawaha Asif )

When it comes to a new form it is called a chemical change and if it is changed from the outside it is a physical chance

example: rusting of metal is an chemical change

cutting of paper is an physical change

Syed Usman Zakir

Physical Change:

1:No new substance

2:Can be reversed

3:Change in shape, state, or size

Chemical change:

1:New substance forms

2:Hard to reverse

3:Color change, gas, heat, or light

chemical change is irreversible while physical change is reversible

physical change is melting an ice cube and chemical change is rotting fruit

Sameen Mubashir

The formation of a gas, change in color, odor, temperature, or a precipitate.

What clues help you figure out if a change is chemical or physical?

Give one example of physical change and one example of chemical change.
