Notes:
- Before starting, let's briefly go through the features of the digital exam platform (font size, bookmarking, highlighting, the tick). The point is to familiarise ourselves with the digital format.
- during Reading and UoE, I will keep track of the time and screen-share the timer. It's up to YOU to keep a record of your answers, though - when the test is over, you won't have access to your answers any longer, so take pictures of your screen as you go, or write your answers down in your notebook (I know it may sound annoying, but there aren't many chances to practise the digital format, so we'll have to make do)
- during Listening, the audio will say "That is the end of Part(1). You now have 1 minute to check your answers to Part (1)". Use that time to take a picture of the screen or write down your answers. Just like in the exam, the audio cannot be paused, so no bathroom breaks during that time :)
- for Writing, please use the platform to type your answers, but once you're done, copy your 2 texts in a document and send it to me. Not as a picture of your screen, but as a Word document - that will enable me to provide specific feedback, rather than just a score.
- At the END of each exam part, please send me your answers privately, not on the class group (for ease of correction). Please make sure your answers are complete, in the right order and visible (if you're sending photos) or clear and legible (if you kept track of your answers in a notebook)
