I wouldn't miss anything, because it would be only for a week. So if I can't use electricity I will use candles.

I prefer adapting to situations.

I would miss a fridge, because I like cooking. First, I buy ingredients like vegetables, meat, fish etc. so I need to keep them fresh and in good condition to make a tasty meal. The Japanese often like eating raw food. So I can't imagine a life without a fridge.

I would also miss the Internet, because I'm always cooking while looking for recipes on the Internet.

I would miss my mobile because I receive photos every day from my grandson and sometimes we do a video chat.

I would also miss my electric stove, I think it would make cooking easier than an open fire.

If I had to live without electricity for two weeks, the first thing I would miss would be my friends or my mobile to be in touch with them. Second thing would be a heating system for warm water to prepare a coffee or to wash my body ;-)

Markus

I would miss the Internet very much, because I need the Internet for my work.

The second thing is my mobile phone, because I need to do a lot of things on the internet every day.

I would miss my phone very much because it makes my life easier. Every single day I start with the alarm clock to wake me up and send a message to say good night to my family at the end. I do a lot of things with it, especially when I need to contact all my friends or communicate with other people.

The second thing I would absolutely miss is the internet, because they are both are important together in general, a phone and the internet.

If my phone makes my life easier the internet also makes it easier and opens my world, even if I stayed at home.

Salisa

I would miss my iPad so much, because I need to do a lot of things on the internet.

I have English lessons and watch news online. I also have some important documents that I wouldn't be able to open and use.

Baoli

I would miss my mobile phone the most. Because this is the first time I have been away from my family so far and for so long time with my sons, we need to see our family daily on video, and share what we saw and heard with them anytime, anywhere. I can't imagine living here without a mobile phone.

I would also miss the air conditioner. Half of the year it is summer in Malta. I like summer, but I don't like sweating. So the air conditioner for me is very important in Malta.

I would miss the Internet very much. I do almost all of my work on the computer, and I use many websites.

I would also miss the fridge, especially in summer. When it is very hot, I need cold drinks. I keep a lot of food in my fridge. It would all be lost.

If you had to live without electricity for a week, what two things would you miss, and why?

A week without electricity
